Incoherent Thoughts

Happy birthday me! =D ...I would've forgotten except for a ton of automatic birthday greetings from (it seems) all the sites I have an account at. I guess that tells how 'important' it is.
Turning 24, by the way. Huh. Older again.
Also, it amuses me how many people I know have their birthday in September. Sometimes it feels like at least a quarter of all the people I know were born in September, with a further quarter of them in other autumn months...

Versailles apparently changed their name to Versailles -Philharmonic Quintet-. Along with the name, there's also a new single, PRINCE. (heh, a nice birthday present?) I've now listened to it a couple times, it sounds just as good as any of their previous songs. A bit clearer in mood than the ones I've most liked, but still very very good. Been playing FFTA2. I'd still be playing but had to stop to grab something to eat... I now have 60-something finished quests, out of..I think it was 400? Slowly getting there. =D Levels 22-24, I've managed to keep them rather even since there's been so few opportunities to fill up my clan. All I have in addition to the people there to begin with (and Adelle, but she doesn't really count since she's a forced join in the story) plus one hume and one bangaa. I'm now in the second year's nu mou months, but I have yet to recruit one. Should get myself over to Graszton again.

Finally you're down you stupid little fucker. >D After a total of 10 days of trying, I took down Cactuar from the Desert City of Clavis. My adventurer morale is almost gone and my citizen morale unacceptable by my standards, but I finally did it! I can build the third weapon shop and my adventurers can buy axes! =D
...well, when I've funded axes up to level 50-ish, and they'll finally start buying them. You see, I'm making a list of all the items available in this game (..I know there's probably easier ways to get that info than finding it out yourself, but I don't care >.>), which means I can only fund a single kind of research by one level per day. Otherwise, I won't see what weapons/armor that type of research has on that level. So to get the axes they have for sale up to usable levels, it'll take 10 more days...providing they won't need research materials before level 50. *sigh* Well, getting there. (the two weapon shops and two armor shops I have already boast up to level 70-85 equips, even though even my highest level adventurer can only use up to level 65-ish equips..I'm obsessed with research. The ability research lines are all level 100 unless they need lv 70/80 research materials)

I thought I wouldn't comment on the FF13 thing, but...
What bothers me isn't that it'll be multi-platform. What bothers me immensely is that it looks like they'll delay US&Europe release until they're ready to release the Xbox360 version. And they won't even start porting the game until the PS3 version is ready and launched in Japan. What the fuck is up with that?! How much did MS pay SE that they'd make such a decision? I know already that SE's a money-grubbing bitch (thus multi-plat isn't really a surprise) but this is beyond their usual behavior. >.<

CDJapan hasn't yet sent me my copy (they do send out a notification email when they send stuff, right?). Boo. D: And my books of the month still haven't arrived (they were sent on the 4th). Double-boo. D:

I think I've found a new favorite word. Infotainment. I'm sure I've heard it before, but happened to pay attention this time. It sounds fun. Just my type of entertainment. xD

Yes, yes, yes!! Play-Asia finally got their hands on a copy of FFCC World Ultimania for me, so they sent my order! =DD ....this would be the order from a month ago. It took them unexpectedly long this time, my own fault for ordering old stuff like that... *sweatdrop*
And CDJapan sent my copy of The Reaper Behind Me, BLOOD's latest. It came out in May, but I couldn't afford it then. I also put Noble (first Versailles album, coming out in July) on pre-order, but they obviously didn't send that yet. :P

I've forgotten to mention it, but Jasdebi (D.Gray-Man) really is hot. The anime version was even more so than the manga version, the episodes with the Jasdebi battle were really great..

I now have 212 missions cleared in FF Tactics Advance. Wasn't there 300 numbered missions..? If so, I'm pretty close to total completion, in addition to just story completion. In the story, I last cleared the mission To Ambervale.
...I like it how they later in FF12 made Ambervale a resort for the Rozarria imperial family. =D
Anyway, trying very hard to complete FFTA now, to prepare for the FFTA2 release. Although I have this strange urge to get Crisis Core instead of that this month...it started with noticing the European official site is now live, and that the game is coming out here shortly. I wouldn't miss out on all the launches for it, that way. I haven't been this late in buying a new FF since I got back into the series again with FF4 Advance. .___.

Hmmh. Haven't gotten anything done today. I just...am. I don't really have the desire to do anything, either.

Well..I did check how much it'd cost to get to see Versailles in Paris on the 6th. A bit too expensive, maybe. But I'm still seriously considering it, for some weird reason. It's been too long since I've been to Louvre, too. =D;
Okay, so 320€ for flights. 100€ for train tickets (it's cheaper to take a train to Helsinki first instead of taking a flight from Joensuu to Helsinki). 33€ for the gig ticket (and I should order it pretty damn soon if I want to get it to me before leaving. I'm not really eager to go to France first and then discover that there's no tickets left or something..), and finally who knows how much for a place to stay for the night. Umm. Expensive. =D; ....and as I said, I'm still considering it. Does anyone know of any place to stay in Paris? Or anyone from France who'd buy the ticket for me? =D;;

So bored. And where did the day go? Granted, I woke up after 3 PM, but still... it's almost 8 PM already and I've done nothing but try and get my hair ready for the gig. *sweatdrop*
Well. Bleached them one more time, and I'm now thinking how long I should keep this hair dye on. It's only been 40 minutes. The instructions say 20-30 mins for standard time, but the store owner recommended one to two hours if you want a vibrant and lasting color...hey, what'd you expect, with shock colors. (my sister said she kept hers on for six hours or so when she dyed her hair pink.. I think that might be a bit of an overkill xD;)

Versailles official site was updated. I was quite surprised to notice that Teru has mostly silver hair in the new pictures. Looks awesome. =D (just take a look at the site. You'll know immediately who I mean)

Okay, forgot I had this open.. well, my hair turned out okay. As I kind of suspected would happen, the color wouldn't stick to the parts I'd dyed purple back in autumn. Repeated bleachings did nothing to the remaining color, not even slight fading. That's an easy problem to solve, though, my hair's too long anyway. A couple cm off and they're finally just as I wished them to be. =D
...although next time, I'll keep the dye on for more than just two hours. It looks nice enough, but the color isn't as vibrant as it could be.

Damn, the day has disappeared somewhere. I meant to do so many things today, too! Well, I guess there's still a bit of it left. But...yeah. So much to do, so little time.

...and just by the way, I'm still sick. Thankfully the fever isn't too high anymore, but still. That's eight days, now. :/

Got my copy of Lyrical Sympathy just now. =D It's totally awesome. Will learn the lyrics to all the songs before the gig. Will not take long, I think, I already know half of them..

Also got my FF3 Official Complete Guide. It's making me want to re-play FF3.. but that would be a spectacularly bad idea. First finish Ring of Fates. And FF4 DS. And preferably FFT and FFCC and FFTA and FF6 and Folklore, too. *sweatdrop* (Oh, and I just remembered I never finished Tales of the Tempest, either! I have a really bad problem with finishing games, it's probably really obvious, too...)
Anyway, now I have even more stuff to work on for waff. I haven't even finished adding the data of the previous games I got guidebooks for, and I keep getting more of them... hopefully there'll be a time soon when I'll just wander to the site and feel disgusted about how incomplete it is. It seems that's the only way to get me going, even though I really like working on it if I just manage to start... =D;

...it's aggravating. They still haven't sent my copy of FF4 DS Official Complete Guide. It's a new book, dammit, can't they get it already?! I ordered it at the same time as the FF3 one, and they didn't have that in stock to begin with, either. D:

I just can't seem to calm down. =D; (And I already bought a Battery, contrary to what I meant to do. I figured that since it's Valentine's and all...but I much suspect that's just a flimsy excuse for my caffeine addiction.)

Anyway. Versailles. Gig in March. I wonder if it's come across before..but when I fall for something, it happens fast. I don't like doing things in half-measures in the first place, so I guess it makes sense. xD
Looking up clothes now. What I have in mind would undoubtedly cost astronomical amounts of money if bought (if I can even find such things on such a short notice), so I'm thinking it's almost certain I'll have to ask mom to sew it up. I just need a good design. (times like this are when I feel eternally grateful I have such a good visual mind. I can look at something and immediately know how to put it together, even if I lack the skills to actually do so. It's taken me ages to notice and understand that other people can't do that)
It's convenient, I even found my old saved pictures of clothes earlier. They don't have anything that would fit what I have in mind, I think, but I should still look them over. You never know, they might have something.
