Been playing more The World Ends With You. Joshua day 3 now. It amuses me greatly that I make him wear largely the same clothes as I had Shiki wear. Should you not happen to be familiar with the game, Shiki is a girl. Joshua is a boy. This amuses me greatly indeed. xD I started him out wearing girly shirts and tight jeans (D+B brand) with some jewelry, since then he's switched almost exclusively to the Natural Puppy brand (and jewelry, still), which mostly include fluttery shirts with lots of frills and tight trousers (at least the ones with better stats are like that). Not to mention the wide-brimmed hats. xDD
(there was even this wall you had to clear by having Joshua wear only Natural Puppy stuff. It's so canon. :P)
Although by now his bravery (again, if you're not familiar with the game..you need more bravery to wear the more girly clothes. The clothes that require the highest bravery are pretty often also the ones with the highest stats, although there's this part around 100 where men's clothes change to women's clothes..below it, there's high-stat men's clothes, and above it low-stat women's clothes. The divide isn't very clear-cut, though, and I have no doubt the more advanced items mess it up even more. I'm at about 46% item collection, and I've bought pretty much all there is available to me right now) is high enough that I should probably take a look around the clothes I've bought and see if he can wear anything with higher stats, as Natural Puppy isn't really the strongest brand around stat-wise. Not to worry though, as there's lots of other girly brands I can have him wear...
Some of the music is doing a good job of being stuck in my head all the time when I'm not playing. Especially that one background music that played for the majority of Shiki's week. I can't believe I
still like it, after listening to that snippet for so long. I'm not really a fan of most of the music that has showed up during Joshua's week though, most of it seems to be rap or hip hop. D:
So far, Joshua's week seems to be much more interesting than Shiki's week was. Shiki herself was just bland. I don't care if she was just acting it, if she hardly shows anything else than a bubbly cheery "let's work together now" attitude I'm not interested, even if there's supposedly jealousy behind it. Even after having this revealed, she didn't change, just in case you didn't notice. There's way too many girls like that out there already, and I don't like the attitude. Shiki=not interesting.
Joshua on the other hand.. Kitty was right, I do like him. I wonder what his story ends up being. Whatever it is, it's bound to be interesting, with what's been revealed so far. =D
Currently in the game, I'm wandering around Shibuya, buying everything new that's appeared in the stores and trying to master the pins I have available for me. I've been keeping up with them so in addition to the ones I'm currently using there's only four or five others I need to master that I've been able to get this far. Although some of them (a good part of them, in fact) don't seem to evolve with the PP you get from battles.. I read somewhere that one other method is shutdown PP, but I haven't had the patience to re-acquire the pins that didn't evolve and try that way. Although I
am keeping track of them, just in case I want to go for total completion later.
I should probably advance the story already (heading to that area where the modified cellphones react to whatever they react to). Aside from a second pair of red cowboy boots (to use for a quest item later), there doesn't seem to be anything else left to buy, and the constant battles are eating money in the form of food to eat. Because battling without a food item being digested is just a waste, and ends up lowering synch rate way too much.
...oh, right. In the category of 'items for sale I don't have yet' are almost everything for sale in the Shibu Dept Store..but I'm not quite crazy enough to try getting enough money to buy
those yet. x___x
Four days until Europe gets My Life as a King. =D (I'm fully intending on having at least mostly finished WEWY by then)
