Some story and speculation on FF4 The After: Return of the Moon...
Yang's chapter was...okay, I guess. Kain showed up again. I just can't figure him out. Is he helping in some way or...? Nevertheless, he got the Wind Crystal. Oh, and Yang's wife's name is Sheila (or シーラ, which amounts to the same thing, unless they do weird things to it in romanization).
The chapter ended with Yang and Ursula on the way to Baron by boat. All I can say otherwise of the chapter is that something important happened at Mt Ordeals, probably connected to a shooting star (meteorite? Or something worse...?) that landed there.
Then Palom's chapter..I was a bit surprised to notice that he just now went to Troia, not before. He got his 'mission' to teach the sage-in-training (Leonora. And yes, that does refer to the eight sages of Troia. One of them died, Leonora is supposed to become the new eighth one) at the beginning of the chapter, and arrived to Troia after the attack on Baron. The mysterious girl (who attacked Baron and got the Summons, probably a Lunarian or at least has the same blood. She looks like it) went to Troia herself to get the Earth Crystal. Even though Palom and Leonora tried to protect it, she got it in the end. Palom didn't seem to fare too well after that battle (the rather cliché twin moment "something happened to him!" was there, too), but there's nothing further I can say on that as the chapter ended there. Oh, and Porom was on Mt Ordeals with Kain during the cliché twin moment. What the two did there, and together no less, I have no idea.
I wonder if the fifth chapter isn't Porom's, or perhaps Kain's since Porom has appeared pretty much already. The previous chapters have repeated the pattern of having a scene at the end with the next chapter's main chara in it, and since this time it was Porom and Kain...

really write those proper summaries. Chapters 1-4 are just waiting for me to get around to it. And the situation sure isn't getting any better, with new chapters coming out every month.
