As in..an actual console? I jumped in way late to console gaming. GameCube, shortly after followed by PS2. I was a computer gamer before that.

Only briefly, and never to play myself

GBC. Got it to play Pokemon =D I actually got my first handheld game way before the handheld itself, as I was too poor to get it. Ended up borrowing a GB to play my Pokemon Red...

Those are very different things, you know. Beaten? Pokemon Red. (or maybe it was Rayman? I'm not sure if I ever beat the final boss, although I did play it tons) Cleared completely? It was Pokemon Colosseum. xD

Not really, unless they carry the Final Fantasy name. And I guess I could make an exception for Pokemon too. I'm just not that interested in playing with others generally.

I play mostly for the plot. Although there are exceptions. Like Pokemon. Those, I play for the gameplay. xD;

Boss Battles/Villains24. Hardest Boss Battle
Errm. I don't generally get around to the extra challenges in games before getting distracted with another game, so I'm going to have to go with the one game where I did that. I can't even remember the boss's name, just that it was this dude in Tales of Symphonia, and the dungeon with him was in the mountains and you had to go in waaaay deep into the dungeon to find him?
25. Most Frustrating Boss Battle
Getting Bahamut in FF8 back when I first played the game, '99 maybe? That effing light and its Ruby Dragons, and having to save outside, and then failing and failing and failing and having to try again all the time.. xD; I know, technically that's not part of the boss battle itself, but what makes it furstrating is getting there.

I can't remember any particularly rewarding boss battle

Maybe something in Rayman. There were all sorts of bosses in that game. *ponders*

Maybe Bahamut in FF3. I was way overleveled.

Exodus in Final Fantasy XII. I was underleveled and my macros (..crap, what were they called in that game?) weren't the best, but I just kept trying and trying...
If I'd ever gotten around to trying the hardest marks in that game, the choice would most likely go to one of those.

Most likely something from FF11. That game has awesome boss battle music.

I remember playing FF8, and getting to that part where Rinoa is strapped to Adel... ended up killing her myself the first time, I'd never before encountered a battle where one of your own is at the enemy's side of the screen
